Albis, Sr., deceased, formerly of Pittsfield, Berkshire County, and said Commonwealth; and also formerly of Danbury, in the State of Connecticut; Francis J. Albis, Jr., deceased, formerly of Pittsfield, Berkshire County, and said Commonwealth; Melissa Albis f/k/a Melissa Mareno, Vanessa Albis, Gabriella Albis, and Dana Albis, all now or formerly of Pittsfield Berkshire County, and said Commonwealth; Nicholas Albis, now or formerly of West Haven, in the State of Connecticut; or their heirs, devisees or legal representatives: A Complaint has been filed by the Plaintiff City of North Adams. The Complaint asks the Court to enter a judgment ending any ownership rights or interests in the land described below. The Complaint is about one parcel of land located in the City of North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, described in the Complaint as follows: Land in said North Adams, with the buildings thereon, at 16-18 Hudson St., shown as Parcel 166 on Assessors Map 79, described in Berkshire No.Dist.Deeds, B. 1486, P. 476. To respond to the Complaint, you or your attorney must take these steps by the Deadline to Answer, which is August 3, 2026. First, prepare a written Answer. Second, file your Answer with the Land Court Recorder's Office, or in the Assistant Recorder's Office at the Registry of Deeds where the land is located, or using the Court's online eFiling system.
