TOWN OF RICHMOND INVITATION FOR BIDS Addendum The Town of Richmond, acting through its Board of Selectman and in conjunction with the Highway Department issues the following amended language as Addendum 1 to the invitation to bid for Street Paving of Various Towns Roads. The due date still remains as 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024. Amended language on Prequalifications. Bidders for all projects that cost over $50,000.00 must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $476,175.00 shall be required. All bidders shall be subject to Section 34 of Chapter 90, must be prequalified in accordance with 700 CMR .14 "Prequalifications of Contractors". AD# 83648 03/29/2024
