Commonwealth of Massachusetts Town of New Marlborough INVITATION TO BID RESURFACE VARIOUS ROADS-FY27 The Town of New Marlborough, acting through the SelectBoard, will accept sealed bids to resurface/repave various roads. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with class of work as pavement-surfacing for the project with an estimated value of $867,780 will be required. The entire project will consist of a total of 24,000sq.yds. of FDR with calcium, 4,200tons of HMA binder and 2,200tons of in place shoulder materials. All materials and workmanship are to meet the latest MassDOT specifications. The contract contains a price adjustment provision for liquid asphalt mixture to be determined at bid opening. Sealed bids will be accepted until 11:00am Wed 9/2/26 at the Highway Department, POBox 99/603 Mill River Southfield Road, Mill River, MA 01244, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. The SelectBoard is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid, and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
