PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED WATER WITHDRAWAL Lanesborough Village Fire and Water District In accordance with the Massachusetts Water Management Act (M.G.L. c. 21G) and 310 CMR 36.00, notice is hereby given that Lanesborough Village Fire and Water District is applying to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) for a Water Management Act Permit to withdraw water from a new source. Proposed Source Location: The proposed new withdrawal point is located at 40 Bull Hill Road, Bull Hill Road Well (Parcel ID: 112_155). Proposed Volume: The new withdrawal will authorize a maximum volume of 0.21 million gallons per day (MGD) for a total annual authorized volume of 76.65 million gallons. Proposed Use: The water will be used for public drinking water supply. Public Review and Comments: A copy of the complete Water Management Act application is available for public inspection at the office of the Lanesborough Village Fire and Water District located at 20 Bridge Street P.O Box 1504, Lanesborough, MA 01237.
