Town of Florida Conservation Commission Notice of Public Hearing In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, the Florida Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:00pm in the Florida Town Hall, 379 Mohawk Trail, Drury, MA 01343 to consider a Notice of Intent filed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The proposed project involves the replacement of trail bridges within the Mohawk Trail State Forest. The project will involve work within 100-foot Buffer Zone to Inland Bank and/or Bordering Vegetated Wetland, with a small amount of impacts with Bank and Land Under Waterbodies and Waterways associated with two of the proposed replacement crossings. The property is located within the Mohawk Trail State Forest, Assessor's Map 38, Parcel 6.
