TOWN OF LENOX Zoning Board of Appeals 310 Old Stockbridge Road - "Elm Court" Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Lenox Public Safety Complex Community Room (227 Housatonic Street), the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will hear the petition of Linda Law, trustee of the Linda Law Trust, concerning property located at 310 Old Stockbridge Road (Map 3, Parcel 4). The approximately 89-acre former Vanderbilt estate and mansion, known as "Elm Court," is located in the Towns of Lenox and Stockbridge. Access to the property is from Old Stockbridge Road in Lenox in the R-1A zoning district. The petitioner is seeking a modification of the existing Special Permit (Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds, Book 6094, Page 267) under 8.2 "Resorts" of the Lenox Zoning Bylaw to allow a 74-key hotel resort, including restaurant and spa uses, as well as the construction of up to 38 single-family residences on the property.
