Berkshire Metropolitan Planning Organization PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT The Berkshire MPO is seeking public comment on the following: 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) The TIP is a prioritized, multi-year program for the implementation of federally funded transportation projects in Berkshire County. Highway, bridge, transportation enhancement and transit improvement projects must be listed in the TIP to be eligible for federal funding. 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment- An amendment (3rd amendment) has been proposed for the Highway Section for the following: HIGHWAY SECTION ? FFY 2026, Project 610728 Lee, resurfacing and related work on Route 20, reduce funding by $2,622,178; Project 612168 Pittsfield Bridge Replacement, P-10-040, Pontoosuc Ave over West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir, remove project and funding in the amount of $9,848,718; add same project (Project 612168) to FFY 2028 and funding in the amount of $10,016,001.
