GREAT BARRINGTON FIRE DISTRICT WATER DEPARTMENT INVITATION TO BID The Great Barrington Fire District, acting through the Prudential Committee, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to furnish operator/laborers and heavy equipment necessary to provide various emergency water system maintenance services for FY 2027. Specifications are outlined on the Bid Proposal forms that may be obtained at the Fire District office at 17 East Street in Great Barrington during office hours Monday - Thursday 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sealed bids are due at the Great Barrington Fire District office by 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The Great Barrington Fire District's Prudential Committee is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor informalities and irregularities in any bid, to make an award in any manner consistent with the Massachusetts General Laws and deemed to be in the best interest of the Great Barrington Fire District Water Department.
