Town of Richmond The Town of Richmond, MA is seeking services from a qualified Massachusetts licensed herbicide applicator to conduct herbicide treatment of invasive, nuisance aquatic vegetation in specified areas of Richmond Pond. The particular species to be targeted is Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum). The requested services are for the 2026 season. This is a whole-lake treatment (approximately 220 acres) using Fluridone (Sonar) aquatic herbicide. It is desired that the treatment be completed prior to June 30, 2026.
