NORTH BERKSHIRE SCHOOL UNION REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP NBSU 2026-001 North Berkshire Secondary Sustainability Study The North Berkshire School Union, North Adams Public Schools, Hoosac Valley Regional School District, and Mount Greylock Regional School District invite qualified consultants to submit proposals to conduct a comprehensive Sustainability Study focused on grades 6-12. Analysis should include both general and special ed programming, placements, and service delivery models. The purpose of this study is to evaluate long-term sustainability options that maintain or enhance educational quality, diverse programming, and fiscal efficiency through shared services, program consolidation, and/or regional collaboration This work will be done in collaboration with a Steering Committee composed of four representatives from each District, representing School Committees, town or municipal government, and community representation from each town or city, with the superintendents of each entity serving ex officio as non-voting advisory members. Proposal procedures will be in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B. All interested proposers may obtain copies of this Request for Proposal after 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. This document and the Sustainability Study Scope of Services are available to all interested proposers at the North Berkshire School Union Central Office at 26 Union Street STE 1A, North Adams, MA 01247, or upon request to cburnett@nbsunion.com. All Proposals will be received until May 8, 2026, at 2:00PM. Any proposal received after the specified time will not be accepted. All proposals will be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "Sealed Proposal Enclosed RFP NBSU 2026-001 North Berkshire Secondary Sustainability Study." Said proposals will be addressed to North Berkshire School Union, John Franzoni, 26 Union Street, STE 1A, North Adams, MA 01247. In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B, the North Berkshire School Union reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in proposals, and to award the contract in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the North Berkshire School Union, North Adams Public Schools, Hoosac Valley Regional School District, and Mount Greylock Regional School District. The North Berkshire School Union further reserves the right to reject any proposal for cause if it is determined that such rejection would best serve the interests of the aforementioned districts.
