TOWN OF LENOX CONSERVATION COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to Chapter 131 Section 40 Massachusetts General Laws, the Lenox Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing at the Lenox Town Hall on Thursday March 5th 2026 at 7:30PM on the subject of a Notice of Intent filed by Native Habitat Restoration LLC for property located at 170 Undermountain Road, Parson's Marsh. The applicant is proposing to improve the condition of existing grassland fields, pond buffer, forest, and wetlands through the targeted treatment of invasive species. The work will include selective herbicide application, cutting of larger invasive specimens, and follow-up foliar treatment of regrowth of non-native species. The total project area within Bordering Vegetated Wetlands is approximately 46,423.7 square feet. In addition, approximately 8,712 square feet of work is proposed within the Buffer Zone and 27,442 square feet within the Riverfront Area.
