DALTON FIRE DISTRICT The Dalton Fire District Clerk, Melanie Roucoulet, has announced that nomination papers may be obtained in the treasurer's office for the annual May elections. The office is located in the fire station, 20 Flansburg Avenue. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. The deadline to submit nomination papers is Sunday, March 22, 2026. The offices to be filled are: (1) Prudential Committee Member for 1 year and (1) Prudential Committee Member, 3 years; 1 Water Commissioner, 3 years; Auditor, one year; Moderator, one year. Incumbents holding positions for re-election are Daniel Filiault, Prudential Committee; Camillus Cachat, Water Commissioner; Anthony Doyle, Moderator and Jeri Kubicki, Auditor. Thomas Murray will be stepping away a year early from his position due to personal reasons. The Dalton Fire District's Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 7:00pm. at The Stationery Factory.
