TOWN OF STOCKBRIDGE PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Chapter 138 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Stockbridge Select Board, will hold a hearing on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Town Offices, 50 Main Street, Stockbridge and via Zoom on the Boston Symphony Orchestra Inc., d/b/a Linde Center for Music and Learning (License No. 00030-GP-1240), the Volpe Family Studio (License No. 04941-GP-1240) and the Gordon Family Studio (License No. 04939-GP-1240) all located at 3A Hawthorne Road request to amend its liquor licenses issued pursuant to G.L. c. 138, 12 in the following ways: (1) Alterations of Premises; and (2) Change of Officers and Directors. The Licensee seeks to consolidate all three licensed premises, together with the connecting walkways and lawn, into one premises under License No. 00030-GP-1240. Upon approval of this application, the Licensee will surrender License No. 04941-GP-1240 and License No. 04939-GP-1240. As consolidated, the description of the premises will be as follows: The Linde Center for Music and Learning is a four-building complex connected by walkways, together with a lawn area of approximately 10,000 sq. ft. under and around a historic red oak tree. The largest building, which contains Studio E, consists of two rooms on a single level with seating capacity and occupancy of 367, a total area of 5,322 sq. ft., and two entrances and two exits. The second-largest building, which contains Cindy's Cafe, is made up of two rooms on a single level with seating capacity and occupancy of 168, a total area of 4,677 sq. ft., and two entrances and two exits, along with an outdoor terrace of 2,135 sq. ft. There is a 1,089 sq. ft. enclosed connecting walkway between the main building and the cafe building. The third-largest building, the Gordon Family Studio, consists of one room on a single level containing 1,594 sq. ft., to which there are two entrances and two exits, with seating capacity and occupancy of 120. The smallest building, the Volpe Family Studio, consists of one room on a single level containing 746 sq. ft., to which there are two entrances and two exits, with seating capacity and occupancy of 57. Including the lawn and walkways, the entire licensed premises is approximately 24,000 sq. ft. The Licensee also seeks to amend its officers and directors as outlined in the application.
