On that date, at 4:30 p.m. local time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids from Subcontractors will be received by the Great Barrington Fire District located at 17 East Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230, until Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. On that date, at 4:30 p.m. local time, the Sub-Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sub-Bids with the required Bid deposit will be received for the following items of work: Electrical Work. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive as amended. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce developmen under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.
