INVITATION FOR BIDS: The Town of Cheshire will accept sealed bids for WEST MOUNTAIN ROAD OVER KITCHEN BROOK CULVERT STRENGTHENING construction services. Prequalification in the Category "Bridge-Culvert" for $490,735 by MassDOT is required. Sealed bids marked"Chesire -West Mountain Rd Culvert BID" will be received by the Town of Cheshire attn.: Jennifer Morse at Cheshire Town Offices, 80 Church St., PO Box 647, Cheshire, MA 01225, on or before 2pm on FEBRUARY 17, 2026 and opened in public. Emailed bids will not be accepted. Wage rates are subject to prevailing wage per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27f inclusive. The bid is undertaken per MGL Ch 30 39M requiring a 5% bid bond/deposit at the time of bidding and 50% Labor and Materials Payment Bond at the time of contract signing.
