PITTSFIELD DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTNOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFTCONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) FOR PUBLIC REVIEW The Pittsfield Department of Community Development (DCD) has completed a draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) detailing activities undertaken during the 2024 HUD Program Year (City 2025 Fiscal Year) utilizing the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The CAPER describes the City's accomplishments utilizing CDBG funds from HUD during the period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The Pittsfield Department of Community Development (DCD) will make a paper copy of the CAPER for any citizen upon request. Copies of the CAPER can be obtained at the DCD office in Room 205 of Pittsfield City Hall or by calling the office at (413) 499-9358 (or TTY: (413) 499-9340) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. A copy of the draft CAPER will also be posted on the City's website at: www.pittsfieldma.gov. Open the "Departments" tab at the top of the screen, then click on "Community Development", then "Housing" and finally click on "Community Development Block Grant". Anyone wishing to comment on the report may do so during a public comment period of fifteen days, beginning September 15, 2025 through 4:00 PM on September 29, 2025. Comments may be submitted in writing to the above address, by email to njoyner@cityofpittsfield.org, or may be made verbally by calling or visiting the DCD office at City Hall. Persons with special needs should contact the above telephone number for additional assistance and information.Following the fifteen-day public comment period, DCD will submit the CAPER report to HUD, including any comments received from the public and responses.
