TOWN OF LEE, MASSACHUSETTS ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF A SPECIAL PERMIT HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a petition for a Special Permit on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:15pm in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 5 regarding Town of Lee Zoning Bylaws 199-3.2, Floodplain District, that the Board deems relevant for the property at 58-62 West Center Street and 95 and 105 Canal Street (Map 12A, Lots 94, 95, 96, 103), prospective purchaser Community Development Corporation South Berkshire, in the "DCBC" zoning district. The nature of the permit is to allow a mixed-use development on 1.9 acres of land off of West Center St and Canal St, where portions of the proposed work will fall within the floodplain of the Housatonic River. The meeting will be held in the Lee Town Hall Courtroom at 32 Main Street. Comments may be submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals via brooke.healy@lee.ma.us.
