INVITATION TO BID The Town of Otis will receive bids for Mass DOT approved applications for the Full Depth Reclamation & Resurfacing of North Blandford Road until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked: INVITATION TO BID - 2026-04 OHD ROAD PAVING to the Board of Selectmen's Office, Otis Town Hall, 1 North Main Road, P.O. Box 237, Otis, MA 01253 on or before the above date and time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Bid prices shall include all labor, equipment and material for a complete in place product at North Blandford Road. Bid prices are to be based on FDR with calcium, application of HMA Binder & Top mix, Tack coat in between HMA courses and shoulder widening. Complete bid packet can be requested by emailing townadmin@townofotisma.com. Mass DOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement- Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $315,000.00 will be required. Project to be completed per current Mass DOT specifications. Project is to be bid as one package. Prevailing wage applies as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F and a wage schedule is included in the specifications. A 100% performance bond is required of successful bidder, 5% bond required with bid. AD# 96147 08/07/2025
