INVITATION FOR BIDS: The Town of New Ashford, 188 Mallery Road, New Ashford, MA 01237 will receive sealed bids for HOT MIX ASPHALT PAVING from MassDOT Prequalified Contractors until August 25, 2025 at 3pm at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Prequal Category is PAVEMENT SURFACING for $341,110. MANDATORY prebid meeting will be held August 11 at 3pm starting at 188 Mallery Rd., New Ashford. Request bid packages from the town's agent Andrea Woods at bids@woodsconsulting.net and they will be emailed. Bids to be submitted in duplicate and may not be emailed or faxed and must include a Bid Bond/Deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid. A 50% Payment Bond will be required of the selected bidder at time of contract award. Project must be completed during 2025 paving season. MA Prevailing Wages required. Town of New Ashford is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid as they deem in the public's best interest.
