City of North Adams Truck Scale Deck Replacement Bid No. 2025-015 LEGAL AD The City of North Adams, Massachusetts, the awarding authority, through its Department of Public Services (DPS), invites sealed bids from industrial equipment suppliers for the purchase and the delivery and installation of a replacement truck scale deck and associated equipment thereto, to the city's Transfer Station situate at 151 E Street, North Adams, MA 01247, in accordance with the documents as prepared by the Commissioner of the DPS. The total cost of the project with delivery is estimated at $150,000.00 with delivery thereto due within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. The sealed bid, clearly marked Bid No. NA-2025-015 for "Truck Scale Deck Replacement", on the envelope as identified by the bidder, will be received at the Office of Community Development (OCD), Room 107, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA until Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00am, after which time they will be taken to OCD Conference Room 110 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid packages may be obtained at the OCD, by calling 413-662-3025 or by emailing ocd@northadams-ma.gov. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27Hinclusive. All bids will require a 5% bid deposit either by cashier's check or by a qualified bid bond pursuant to MGL Ch 30 39M. This project is being funded through a local municipal appropriation. The lowest qualified and most responsible bidder shall be awarded the project subject to the availability of funding. The City of North Adams reserves the right to reject and or all bids or to waive any, informalities in the bidding. No obviously unbalanced bid will be considered in awarding this contract.
