LEGAL NOTICE NORTH ADAMS PUBLIC SCHOOLS/CITY OF NORTH ADAMS INVITATION TO BID Bid # NAPS-2025-005 The North Adams Public Schools, through its Procurement Officer, will be accepting sealed bids for the following work: Repair and Repave Approximately 1,200 Feet of Driveway, Located at Drury High School 1130 Church St. North Adams Ma. 01247. Reclaim and Repair damaged areas of the Driveway, (66x35) (40x13) (80x26) and (55x30), and any other areas as needed. Work to be done one lane at a time. Install Additional Gravel Base as needed. Raise 1 Catch Basin if needed to finish grade. Vibratory Compact all areas. Install 2" to 2-1/2" of Asphalt Base Coat. Apply Liquid Tack for Asphalt adhesion. Apply Asphalt Leveling Course to severely Damaged and Rutted Areas. Apply 1-1/2" to 2" of finish Asphalt. Owner will Stripe Center Line of Driveway when Complete. Millings will remain the property of the owner to be stored at 931 Church Street, North Adams, MA 01247. Sealed bids will be accepted by the North Adams Public Schools, Procurement Officer, City Hall - 10 Main Street, 2nd Floor, North Adams, MA 01247 on or before Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 11:00 am after which time all received bids will be publicly opened and read in the second floor Conference Room # 202. Wage rates are subject to the minimum state wage rates as per MGL Chapter 149, Sections 26 through 27; MGL c. 30, 39M. Funding for this project has been appropriated through North Adams Public Schools funds. The lowest-priced bid from the most qualified and responsible bidder shall be awarded the project subject to the availability of funding. North Adams Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No obviously unbalanced bid will be considered in awarding this contract.
