TOWN OF LENOX Conservation Commission NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to Chapter 131 Section 40 Massachusetts General Laws, the Lenox Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing at the Lenox Town Hall on Thursday June 5th at 7:30PM on the subject of a Notice of Intent filed by Laurel Lake Preservation Association Inc, c/o Roger Scheurer for property located around Laurel Lake. The applicant is proposing the continued annual 3-foot drawdown of the lake to reduce the Zebra Mussel population and to manage submerged invasive/non-native aquatic vegetation. Additional work proposed includes hand pulling of invasive Water Chestnut and herbicide application to Eurasian Water Milfoil.
