Advertisement Sale of Surplus Vehicle Bid # NA-2025-008 The City of North Adams, Massachusetts, through its Office of Procurement, will be disposing through its Sale of Surplus Vehicles, one 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, Heavy Duty pick-up truck, 8-foot bed, gas-powered engine, regular 2-seat cab, 4-wheel drive, manual operated windows, color red, with approximately 136,216 miles, and deemed to be in fair condition. The VIN # is 1GCHK24U83E14723. The sale will be in its as-is condition with no written or implied warranties to the winning bidder. Written and sealed bids must be submitted to Marya Kozik, Procurement Officer, by 10:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025 to Room # 107, City Hall-10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247, after which all bids shall be taken to the OCD Conference Room 110, where they shall be opened and read aloud. The winning bidder will be required within two (2) business days of said award to submit a certified bank check payable to the City of North Adams equal to the awarded amount, after which time the transaction and transfer of the vehicle will be consummated. However, the City will check to determine if said winning bidder has all of their local real estate property tax, excise tax, and municipal water/sewer fees are current and up to date; else, the bid will be disqualified as non-responsible, and the award shall go to the next highest bidder yet at the higher value, else the City will elect to solicit with a new procurement.
