CITY OF PITTSFIELD PURCHASING DEPARTMENT INVITATION FOR BID The City of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, acting through its Mayor and its Purchas-ing Agent, will receive sealed bids for: SOQ #27-017 Reconstruction of Wahconah Park Grandstand & Concession Prequalification Estimated Construction Cost: $14,000,000.00 The City of Pittsfield, MA invites qualified and experienced General Contractor firms and Filed Trade Sub-Contractors to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for the prequalification to bid on the Reconstruction of Wahconah Park Grandstand & Concession. SOQ's shall be received in the Purchasing office no later than August 17th, 2026 at 11:00AM.Any SOQ received after this date and time will not be accepted. SOQ's shall be sent to the City via mail or hand delivery to the City of Pittsfield Purchasing Office, Attn: Cristina Duhamel, Deputy Purchasing Agent, Pittsfield City Hall Room #102, 70 Allen Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 In advance if this SOQ, interested firms shall submit a Statement of Interest Form (SOI) no later than 2:00 PM on August 7, 2026. Any SOI received after the date and time will not be accepted. SOI's shall be sent to the City via mail or hand delivery to the City of Pittsfield Purchasing Office, Attn: Cristina Duhamel, Deputy Purchasing Agent, Pittsfield City Hall Room #102, 70 Allen Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first part of a two-step RFP process as provided in M.G.L. c. 149, 44D1/2. Based on the SOQs received in this Phase I, the City will select respondents it deems to be prequalified in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFQ. In Phase II, the prequalified respondents will be invited to submit bids in response to an Invitation to Bid which the City anticipates to be issued during September 2026.Only GC & Filed Trade Sub-Contractor firms prequalified for this project in Phase I will be permitted to submit bids in Phase II. DCAMM Certification in one of the following Trade Categories: Masonry; Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron; Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking; Roofing and Flashing; Painting; Elevators; Plumbing; HVAC; and Electrical. This required SOQ is different from DCAMM Certification; all Filed Sub-Bidders must be prequalified for this project, even if the Filed Sub-Bidder is already DCAMM Certified.
