Egremont Planning Board Public Hearing Notice The Egremont Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 16, from 10 AM to Noon. This hearing will discuss four citizens' petitions to amend Egremont's zoning bylaws: Petition One: Amend the Egremont Zoning Bylaw by adding the following section 5.2.3.3: 5.2.3.3 If the owner of a property in Egremont intends to create an ADU on such property and files with the town clerk a written statement that such owner will comply with the conditions that would qualify the property for a property tax exemption under the parameters established by the Selectboard pursuant to Egremont's adoption of GL chapter 59 section 50 (whether or not such owner applies for such exemption), such ADU shall be allowed by right and shall be exempt from all the other provisions and requirements of this section 5.2.3 and sections 4.1.3, 4.2.3 and 4.6. Petition Two: Amend the Egremont Zoning Bylaw by deleting section 4.6. Petition Three: Amend the Egremont Zoning Bylaw by deleting section 5.2.10.1, Petition Four: Amend the Egremont Zoning Bylaw by deleting section 6.5. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
