The City of North Adams Inspection Services, hereby gives notice of the City of North Adams? intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between Ashton Avenue & Amidon Rd. east & west & Massachusetts Avenue & the Hoosic River north & south. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Tributary No. 1 to the Hoosic River & the Hoosic River from a point approximately directly west of Ashton Avenue to a point approximately at 1270 Massachusetts Avenue. As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall narrow within the area of revision.
