INVITATION FOR BIDS: The Town of Becket will accept sealed bids for a turnkey Wind Turbine project on the grounds near Becket Town Hall located at 557 Main Street. The bid is per MGL c 30 sect 39. Sealed bids marked "Becket Wind Turbine Bid" will be received by Katherine Warden, Town Administrator, 557 Main St., Becket, MA 01223 no later than May 5, 2025 at 2pm at which time the bids will be opened and read in public. Emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted. It is mandatory to visit the site before the deadline for written questions. Visit the site during regular hours Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm. Wage rates are subject to prevailing wage per MGL Ch 149, Sect 26 - 27f inclusive. 5% Bid deposit is required. 50% labor and materials payment bond is required at contract signing of the winning bidder. Only bidders who have received bid specifications through this email will be automatically notified of addenda or announcements.
