INVITATION FOR BIDS: The Town of Becket will accept sealed bids for a Town-funded Full Depth Reclamation and Paving project for driveways and parking lot at Town Hall and Town Park per MGL Ch30 s39M. A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on site March 26, 2025 at NOON 557 Main Street, Becket. Sealed bids marked "BECKET RECLAMATION AND PAVING BID" will be received by the Town Administrator, 557 Main St, Becket, MA 01223 until APRIL 16, 2025 at 3PM in triplicate. Bid Instructions and General Specifications are available by email request to Andrea Woods at bids@WoodsConsulting.net. Only bidders who have requested the bid through this email will be on the formal registry of bidders and notified of addenda or clarifications. Wage rates are subject to prevailing wage per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27f inclusive. A bid deposit or bond in the amount of 5% of the bidis required with the bid submittal and may be in the form of a Treasurer's/bank check or drawn on a MA licensed surety. Awarded contractor will provide Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price. Work to be completed between May 19-Sept 19, 2025. The Town of Becket is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public. AD# 03/19/2025
