The Town of Hancock will be holding a Special Town Meeting February 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Hancock Elementary School to vote on the following: ARTICLE FIRST: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Land Purchase Stabilization fund account, the sum of $1000.00, to pay for a deed search on property located on Smith Road - Parcel 24-9-0. Upon completion of the deed search, the present owner will gift the property to the Town. SECOND: To see if the town will vote to approve an increase of 2% in the Local Room Tax Rate from 4% to 6%.
