Town of Sheffield Notice of Public Hearing The Sheffield Historical Commission will hold a public hearing on December 4, 2024 at 7pm, at Town Hall, Sheffield, to act on the application of Andres Cortes and Sarrah Kahn to demolish part of a house at 626 Salisbury Rd. in Sheffield 01257. This hearing is to determine if the building that was found to be a Significant Structure is also Preferably Preserved under Sections 2(E) of the Town of Sheffield's Demolition Delay Bylaw. The property is in the Rural District at Tax Map No. 18, Block & Lot: 1-12, Book 2602 & Page 84. A copy of the demolition permit applications will be on file with the Building Commissioner/Inspector at Town Hall, and may be inspected by calling that office at (413) 446-0964.
