LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF NORTH ADAMS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Sale of Property & Reuse Bid No. NA2024-006 The City of North Adams requests proposals for the sale and reuse of real properties located at 151 Kemp Avenue (Assessor's Map 169, Lot 1), former Sullivan School. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued in accordance with and subject to MGL Chapter 30B. The intended reuse of this property should align with an approved purpose that is considered to be in the best interest of the City of North Adams. All interested proposers may obtain copies of this Request for Proposals (RFP) after 9:00AM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. The RFP package, including submission requirements, may be obtained electronically by emailing sabuisi@northadams-ma.gov. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. All proposals will be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "SEALED PROPOSAL ENCLOSED RFP NA-2024-006 Sale of Property and Reuse- Sullivan School." Said proposals will be addressed to the Office of Procurement, Room 201, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247. All Proposals will be received until Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2PM after which time all shall be taken and publicly opened and identified as to its proposer in the City Hall Conference Room # 110. Any proposal received after the specified time will not be accepted. A bid bond or certified check for $10,000.00 must be included with the proposal, payable to the City of North Adams. This requirement applies to all proposers, regardless of the monetary consideration of the proposal. The City of North Adams reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposal when it deems it to be in the best interest of the City. Also reserved is the right to reject, for cause, any proposal in part or whole if it is determined that the best interests of the City will be served thereby.
