NOTICE OF INITIAL SITE INVESTIGATION REPORT AND TIER CLASSIFICATION IRA COMPLETION REPORT FORMER RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SITE 14-18 RICHMOND STREET, ADAMS, MA 01220 RELEASE TRACKING NUMBER 1-21734 A release of oil and/or hazardous materials has occurred at this address, which is a disposal site as defined by M.G.L. c. 21E, and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan, 310 CMR 40.0000. A Phase I Initial Site Investigation has been completed pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0480, which included remediation of oil-impacted soil. Additional assessment activities are scheduled to assess potential groundwater impacts. As a result of the investigation activities, the property is classified as a Tier II site pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0500. The conditions that gave rise to an IRA have been addressed and no longer exist at the site. On February 13, 2024, Paul and Vanessa Mazzantini filed the Phase I Initial Site Investigation Report and Tier Classification and IRA Completion Report with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0510.
