TYRINGHAM UNION CHURCH COLONNADE REPAIR PROJECT November 7, 2023 Invitation to Bid The Tyringham Union Church, Tyringham, MA, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for repair of the front colonnade of the Tyringham Union Church in Tyringham, Massachusetts, which is listed on the State Register of Historic Places.in accordance with the documents prepared by Clark Green & Bek, LLC. The Project includes shoring of the portico, removal and reinstallation of the columns, wood framing repair and re-decking of the porch, repainting the columns, and miscellaneous. The work is estimated to cost $83,460. General Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, and opened thereafter. This site is listed in the State Register of Historic Places, and the project is being partially funded with a grant from the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund through the Massachusetts Historical Commission. All work must be performed in accordance with the documents prepared by Clark Green & Bek, LLC, Great Barrington, MA. Contractors shall be experienced with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and shall be able to provide a history of completed work on a minimum of 3 similar projects during the past 7 years that are on the Massachusetts Register of Historic Places.
