PITTSFIELD DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) FOR PUBLIC REVIEW The Pittsfield Department of Community Development has completed a draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) detailing activities undertaken during the City's 2023 fiscal year utilizing the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The CAPER describes the City's accomplishments utilizing CDBG funds from HUD during the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. The Pittsfield Department of Community Development (DCD) will make a paper copy of the CAPER for any citizen upon request. Copies of the CAPER can be obtained at the DCD office in Room 205 of Pittsfield City Hall or by calling the office at (413) 499-9368 (or TTY: (413) 499-9340) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. A copy of the draft CAPER will be posted on the City's website at: www.cityofpittsfield.org. Open the "Departments" tab at the top of the screen, then click on "Community Development", and finally click on "Community Development & Housing". Anyone wishing to comment on the report may do so for a period of fifteen days, beginning September 15, 2023 through the close of business on September 29, 2023. Comments may be submitted in writing to the above address or may be made verbally by calling or visiting the DCD office at City Hall. Persons with special needs should contact the above telephone number for additional assistance and information. Following the fifteen-day public comment period, DCD will submit the CAPER report to HUD, including any comments received from the public and responses. AD# 09/15/2023
