Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Filed Sub-Bid Contractors and General Contractors for the Amsler Campus Center | Phase 2 HVAC Renovations in North Adams, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by edm, dated July 28, 2023. The estimated construction cost is $3,278,500.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 s.44A-J and to the prevailing wage rate requirement of c.149 s.26-27H inclusive. Bid Form and Contract Documents will be available at www.biddocs.com and may be viewed and downloaded electronically at no cost starting August 9, 2023. All bids shall be submitted online at www.biddocs.com and received no later than the date and time specified. Hard copies of bids will not be accepted. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction. Filed Sub-Bidders must be DCAMM certified in the trades of Acoustical Tile, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical. All bidders must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed Update Statement.
