LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF NORTH ADAMS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ NA-2024-002 Transportation Planning/ Engineering Services for the Route Two Overpass Study Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program The City of North Adams, is soliciting proposals from firms to provide professional consulting services for a transportation planning and feasibility study for the Route Two Overpass Study under the Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program of the Federal Highway Administration, U.S Department of Transportation in North Adams. Services will include, but not be limited to, engineering investigations, analyses, evaluation, planning, feasibility and sustainability studies; provision of technical advice and reports; community engagement; preparation of cost estimates; preliminary designs of alternate pedestrian, bicycle, automobile and commercial truck traffic through downtown North Adams; and/or other work related to the Route Two Overpass bisecting downtown North Adams. Proposal procedures will be in accordance with the latest edition of M.G.L. c. 30B. All interested proposers may obtain copies of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) after 9:00AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The RFQ package, including submission requirements, may be obtained electronically by emailing sabuisi@northadams-ma.gov. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFQ or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. All proposals will be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked ?SEALED PROPOSAL ENCLOSED RFQ NA-2024-002 Transportation Planning/Engineering Services for Rt. 2 Overpass Study. Said proposals will be addressed to the Office of Procurement, Room 201, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247. All Proposals will be received until Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2PM after which time all shall be taken and publicly opened and identified as to its proposer in the City Hall Conference Room # 110. Any proposal received after the specified time will not be accepted. The City of North Adams reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposal when it deems it to be in the best interest of the City. Also reserved is the right to reject, for cause, any proposal in part or whole if it is determined that the best interests of the City will be served thereby.
