TOWN OF HANCOCK BOARD OF SELECTMEN SNOW PLOWING INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for snowplowing will be received by the Board of Selectmen at the Hancock Town Hall until noon on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 and opened and read at the Hancock Board of Selectmen meeting at the Hancock Town Hall, Route 43 in Hancock on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. Contract documents are available at the Hancock Town Hall from the Town Secretary by calling 413-738-5225, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The Contract period is for three years beginning October 15, 2022 and ending on May 15, 2025. Contractor agrees to provide all equipment, labor, and materials for the successful completion of plowing and salting town roads per Contract specifications which may be picked up at the Town Hall or can be mailed to any interested parties. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays after the opening date. The successful bidder shall provide the cost for completion including 100% Performance Bond. Wage rates are subject to the minimum wage rate as per General Laws, Chapter 149, and Sections 26 through 27F inclusive.
