LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF NORTH ADAMS INVITATION TO BID Bid # NA-2026-010 The City of North Adams invites sealed bids for NA-2026-010 for the construction of six (6)-unit T-hangars at Harriman-and-West Airport, in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., Albany, NY. Bidding shall be in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 44A-44J, and Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended. The estimated construction cost is $1,000,000. General Bidders must be DCAMM-certified in General Building Construction. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A(2), as amended. The work includes site preparation, construction of a six (6)-unit pre-engineered metal T-hangar building, concrete foundation and slab, electrical service, site restoration, and incidental work. Replacement of the existing City hangars' metal roof is included as an additive alternate. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Filed sub-bids will be received at the Office of Procurement, Room 201, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247, until 2:00 P.M. (EST) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, and publicly opened thereafter for: Electrical (Divisions 26 & 33). General bids will be received at the same location until 2:00 P.M. (EST) on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and publicly opened thereafter. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at Harriman-and-West Airport, 836 State Road, North Adams, MA, at 10:00 A.M. (EST) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Bid documents will be available after 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Hard copies will not be issued.
