CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSXT) is soliciting a Request for Proposal to support the Pittsfield Track 4 Turnout Extension, an approximately 1,000' railroad track extension project in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 20, 2026, at 1:30 pm EDT. Contractors who are attending the pre-bid meeting will notify the CSXT contact, Mr. Derek Mihaly, at createproposal@csx.com, by close of business August 18, 2026, and include number of attendees. After notice has been received, the contractor will then be provided with full bid documents. Construction bids will be due September 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm EDT. All RFIs and questions will be sent via e-mail to Chris Coppock, Chris.Coppock@mbakerintl.com. The last day for RFIs will be August 25, 2026, at 5:00 pm EDT.
