Town of Becket Conservation Commission Notice of Public Hearing Tuesday June 23rd, 2026 in the Community Room Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, the Wetlands Protection Act, The Becket Conservation Commission will review the following: New Public Hearing: A Request for an Amended Order of Conditions for an Order of Conditions issued under MassDEP File# 102-0505 to change the location of the proposed septic system, installation of a shed, tree maintenance, and stump grinding with the Bufferzone, as well as the removal of a pipe, stump grinding, and vista pruning within a BVW at 42 Mountain Pasture Rd (Map 412, Lot 42). New Public Hearing: A Notice of Intent submitted on behalf of the Town of Becket for the reconstruction and improvement of Leonhardt Road. Work will occur within BVW, LUW, Bank, and Bufferzone along Leonhardt Road (MassDEP File# not yet issued). A Request for a Determination of Applicability submitted by Drew Bitterman of Camp Watitoh Operating Co. LLC. for the work associated with the installation of technoposts for a staircase within the Bufferzone of the Bank of Center Pond at 1885 Main Street (Map 210, Lot 34). A Request for a Determination of Applicability submitted by the Town of Chester Water Department for the reclamation of its access road to the Horn Pond dam and wet well (Map 417, Lot 6 & 7). A Request for a Determination of Applicability submitted by the Sherwood Forest Lake District for the work associated with sand replenishment on community beaches.
