NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), acting under statutory authority pursuant to Chapter 21, section 1; Chapter 92, sections 34B, 37, 38, 41; and Chapter 132A, sections 7, 7A of the General Laws, and in conformance with chapter 30A of the General Laws, will hold public hearings on proposed amendments to portions of 302 CMR 11.00 (Parkways, Traffic, and Pedestrian Rules) and 302 CMR 12.00 (Parks and Recreation Rules) relating to disorderly conduct, the use of public address systems or audio devices on DCR property, and enforcement of DCR regulations. The following public hearings will be held to receive verbal and written comments on the proposed regulation: Notch Visitor Center Wednesday, May 6, 2026 Holyoke Range State Park 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. 1500 West Street Amherst, Massachusetts Botume House Thursday, May 7, 2026 4 Woodland Road 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Stoneham, Massachusetts Verbal and written testimony may be presented at the public hearings; however, parties are requested to provide written copies of their oral testimony. Written comments will be accepted beginning April 27, 2026 and continue until 5:00 P.M. on May 11, 2026.
