Public Notice is hereby issued, pursuant toM.G.L.Chapter111,Sections150Aand150A1/2and the Massachusetts Solid Waste Management Regulations at 310 CMR 16.00, that the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has issued a Draft Recycling, Composting or Conversion(RCC)permit for a Recycling Operation to beoperatedby Rifenburg-MA Aggregate Recycling LLC, at1883North Main Street, Sheffield, Massachusetts. Applicant: Rifenburg-MA Aggregate Recycling LLC,1883 North Main Street, Sheffield,MA 01257 Type of Operation: The proposed Recycling Operation will recycle asphalt, brick, and concrete generated from construction and demolition waste. The processed asphalt, brick, and concrete will be used as gravel on construction sites as roadway subbase and construction fill. The Operation will accept at a maximum of 1,500tons per day, with an annual processing capacity of40,000 tons. The proposed hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from6:30amto 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
