THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS: NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: The Department of Fish and Game, Office of Fishing and Boating Access, invites sealed bids for the improvements to a boating access facility, in the Town of Stockbridge, MA, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Department of Fish and Game, Office of Fishing and Boating Access. This project consists of re-grading slopes, placing concrete sidewalk and stairs with railings, paving boat ramp approach and small parking area, drainage improvements, gravel driveway grading and other miscellaneous work in accordance with the above referenced documents. The estimated project value is $375,000. Bids will be submitted on the forms furnished by the Department in the bid package and will be received at the Office of Fishing and Boating Access, 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, MA 01581, until 11:00AM, local time, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. Bid deposits, payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Fish and Game, shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified, cashier's or treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Contract Documents will be available after January 15, 2026, from the Office of Fishing and Boating Access, 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, MA 01581. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained from the Office of Fishing and Boating Access, in electronic .pdf format, by making a formal written request via email to: george.p.willis@mass.gov . Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined by M.G.L. under Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive. Proposals that do not have the Affidavit (of non collusion, etc.) properly completed will be declared informal. Bids are subject to provisions M.G.L. Chapter 30, Sections 39F, 39G, 39H, 39K and 39M and Chapter 149, Sections 44A to 44H, inclusive. This contract is subject to all state laws and regulations concerning minority business enterprises including Executive Order 237. The right is reserved to waive any informality in or reject any or all proposals. An award will not be made to any Contractor who is not able to complete the work no later than May 20, 2026.
