GREAT BARRINGTON FIRE DISTRICT GREAT BARRINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the "New Source Exploration Wells Berkshire Natural Resources Property" project will be received by the Great Barrington Fire District at 17 East Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230 until 4:00 p.m. local time on January 28, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as "New Source Exploration Wells Berkshire Natural Resources Property" The work consists of site preparation including installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, clearing and grubbing, installation of a construction entrance, and installation of timber matting; installation, development and testing of up to two 6-inch diameter exploration wells; and site restoration at the end of the exploratory well work. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended.
