CITY OF PITTSFIELD NOTICE OF ZONING AMENDMENT PUBLIC HEARING PITTSFIELD CITY COUNCIL The City of Pittsfield in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 40A, Section 5, hereby gives notice to all interested parties that a public hearing will be held by the Pittsfield City Council on a petition from the Pittsfield City Council to amend City Code, Chapter 23 (the City of Pittsfield Zoning Ordinance): Article 23-2 Section 2.2 (Glossary), Article 23-4 Section 4.202 (Table of Permitted Uses), Article 23-7, Section 7.736 (Outdoor Marijuana Cultivation 20,000 square feet), Section 7.854 (Outdoor Marijuana Cultivation), Section 7.735 (Marijuana Cultivation), and Section 7.853 (Marijuana Cultivation). As proposed, the amendment would prohibit outdoor commercial marijuana cultivation in all zoning districts. The Pittsfield City Council public hearing will be held remotely on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. Pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, 18, and state and federal orders and guidance imposing strict limits on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting of the Pittsfield City Council will be conducted exclusively via Zoom (Meeting ID 993 2725 8221).
