The proposed project involves replacing an existing 4" cast iron gas main with a 2" plastic gas main on Meadow Street from E. Hoosac Street to #63 Meadow Street and connecting all existing gas services to the new main. NOTICE OF INTENT: Filed by GEI Consultants, Inc. on behalf of Massachusetts Electric Company to undertake targeted excavation of soil containing compounds of concern within multiple properties (27 & 31 Columbia Street, etc.) at the former Adams Manufactured Gas Plant site within resource areas associated with the Hoosic River.
