City of North Adams ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Bid No. NA-2025-015 The City of North Adams, through its Office of Community Development (OCD), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Blackinton Infrastructure Improvements Phase II in North Adams, MA in accordance with the documents prepared by Waterfield Design Group, Inc. The project consists of: The work to be done under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install a new 56 spot parking area, truck access route and loading dock, walkways and stairways and associated drainage improvements. The work is estimated to cost $1,300,000, with a total number of days to Final Completion at 150 calendar days. The Contractor and all subcontractors (collectively referred to as "the Contractor") agree to strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation. The Workforce Participating benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory requirement under M.G.L. Chapter 149 44A(s)(G). Bids are subject to M.G.L. Chapter 30, 39M & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. Chapter 149, 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the City of North Adams. There is a plan deposit of $50.00 per set (maximum of 2 sets) payable to BidDocsONLINE Inc. Plan deposits may be electronically paid or by check. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty (30) days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00.
