TOWN OF LENOX ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday March 5th 2025 at 7:00pm at the Lenox Town Hall, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a request for a variance to seek relief from the zoning bylaw filed by owners Michael and Cynthia Palmer for property at 5 Cliffwood Street (map 43, parcel 63-1) in the R15 district. The request is related to a November 19, 2024 enforcement letter from the Building Inspector regarding a newly-installed fence. The stated reason for this letter is that the fence violates the 4' maximum street line height per Zoning Bylaw section 6.1.12 "Fencing" and orders the owner reduce the height of the fence to no more than 4' in height and not more than 50% in coverage. The fence also violates the street line setback requirements per section 6.1.1 "Dimensional Requirements". The application materials are on file with the Lenox Town Clerk for viewing during normal business hours, and on the Town of Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals website.
