TOWN OF LENOX CONSERVATION COMMISSION 6 Walker Street, Lenox 01240 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to Chapter 131 Section 40 Massachusetts General Laws, the Lenox Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing at the Lenox Town Hall on Thursday February 20th at 7:30PM on the subject of a Notice of Intent filed by DPC Engineering, LLC on behalf of the Town of Lenox for property located at 239 Crystal Street,Map 8, Parcel 100. The proposed project consists of the modernization of the existing Crystal Street wastewater treatment plant and involves construction of new headworks and tertiary treatment buildings, and a new secondary clarifier, clarifier distribution box, and scum well. The proposed work will consist of temporary work within the limits of a bordering vegetated wetland, and work within a buffer zone and riverfront area of the Housatonic River.
