Request For Proposals City of North Adams RFP/Bid # NA-2025-002 The City of North Adams, MA, acting by and through its Office of Community Development (OCD), is soliciting proposals from not-for-profit social service agencies and/or from licensed providers to implement their agency's services/programs that will benefit low/moderate income persons that reside in North Adams, especially those services that help sustain and improve the economic security and self-sufficiency of the affected individuals. Proposals shall be reviewed by the City's Human Services Commission with assistance provided by the OCD. This is reflective of unused funds in the main round of the social services campaign. There will be only one grant awarded for the sum of $6,500 and in which will be for an 8-month service period. Project RFPs are available at the North Adams OCD, City Hall, after 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, or can be viewed on the municipal website of www.northadams-ma.gov. Proposals must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the OCD, Room # 107, City Hall - 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247, after which time all received proposals shall be taken to the OCD's conference room (Rm # 110) where they shall be opened and identified as to its proposer. All proposals will receive consideration without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, religion or national origin. This project is provided by the City's FY'2022-23 Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, through the State Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities.
