TOWN OF BECKET CABLE TELEVISION LICENSE RENEWAL PROCEEDING The Becket Select Board, as cable television licensing authority under MGL 166A, s. 1, will hold a public cable license renewal ascertainment hearing onFebruary 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 557 Main St., Becket, MA 01223 as part of the Town's license renewal proceedings pertaining to Comcast of Massachusetts II, Inc. Interested persons may attend. Zoom access is posted on the town website www.townofbecket.org. The Town of Becket's Comcast license expires on February 23, 2025. The Federal Cable Act, 47 USC 546, requires a public proceeding to ascertain the community's cable-related needs and interests as part of the license renewal process applicable to expiring cable licenses. Public comment is invited regarding the Town's Comcast license renewal needs going forward and regarding cable operator past performance. Any person interested or wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place designated. If unable to attend please submit comments in writing to the Becket Select Board for receipt before the date of the scheduled hearing.
